Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of Reroutly, the dynamic QR code service at www.reroutly.com.au. Reroutly (ABN 78 511 064 879) is operated from Queensland, Australia (“Reroutly”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you use Reroutly on behalf of a business, you agree to them on its behalf.
1. The service
Reroutly lets you create QR codes that point to a short link we host. When someone scans a code, we redirect them to the destination you choose, which you can change at any time, and record anonymous scan statistics for you. Features and limits depend on your plan.
2. Your account
- You must give us a valid email address and confirm it before using the service.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account.
- Tell us promptly at support@reroutly.com.au if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
3. Acceptable use
Because Reroutly redirects people to links you choose, you must not use it to link to or promote:
- phishing, scams, malware or anything designed to deceive or harm the people scanning your codes;
- content that is illegal, or that infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
- spam, or content that impersonates another person or organisation.
You also must not try to disrupt the service, access other people's accounts or data, or get around plan limits. We may pause or remove QR codes, or suspend accounts, that break these rules. Where reasonable we will tell you first, but we may act immediately to protect people from harm.
4. Plans, billing and cancellation
- The Free plan includes 3 dynamic QR codes. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance: Pro (A$9/month, 50 codes) and Business (A$29/month, 500 codes). Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST or your local sales tax.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe may act as the seller of record for your purchase, in which case Stripe's checkout terms also apply.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time from “Manage billing”. Your paid plan continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan.
- If you change plans part-way through a billing period, the difference is charged or credited proportionally.
- If a payment fails, we and Stripe will retry it. If it can't be collected, your account will move to the Free plan.
- If you move to a plan with a lower limit, your existing QR codes keep working, but you can't create new ones while you are over the limit.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes apply from your next billing period.
Except where required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), payments are non-refundable and we don't give refunds for partial months.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the destination links, names, logos and other content you add to Reroutly. You give us permission to store, process and display that content as needed to provide the service to you. You confirm you have the right to use any logos or other material you upload.
6. Our service and intellectual property
The Reroutly software, brand and website remain our property. Your subscription gives you a right to use the service, not ownership of it. QR Code is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED.
7. Availability
We work hard to keep Reroutly and your QR code redirects running, but we can't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or improve features over time. If we ever need to discontinue the service, we will give you at least 60 days' notice so you can update printed materials.
8. Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under that law or any other law that can't be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to section 8, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or the cost of reprinting materials. Where our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again. Otherwise our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Suspension and closing your account
You can delete your account at any time from Account in your dashboard. Deleting your account cancels any subscription immediately (without a refund for the current period, except where required by law) and permanently deletes your QR codes and scan data. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly breach these terms. When an account is closed or deleted, its QR codes stop redirecting.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including the scan data we record.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page and email you about significant changes before they take effect. If you keep using Reroutly after that, the updated terms apply.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the courts that can hear appeals from them.
